Clarification

This summer, the Secret Service was brought back with a few DCP veterans stepping in as advisors. However, after a falling out between the leaders of SS and SS legends/veterans on their lack of support for the army, DCP legends were approached and were asked to give the current SS leadership revival perms for DCP. This led some DCP legends to consider reviving DCP and giving the SS leadership their full support in exchange for this new direction. At first, there was some hesitation, but the leaders made a compelling case for wanting to bringing back DCP’s legacy. Having hundreds of experienced DCP veterans behind them would also give them a strong foundation to work from.

After a successful vote between many DCP legends and veterans and a vote between the SS HCOM and leadership, the plan was to announce the end of SS at an anniversary event and introduce the revival of DCP, inviting SS members to join as a natural progression. It was supposed to be a smooth and positive transition for everyone involved.

Things got complicated when screenshots were given to the SS leadership showing that some SS veterans were allegedly planning a takeover of the server. They seemed set on disrupting the plan, intending to write an exposé to push their agenda and keeping SS alive, which went against the agreed peaceful transition.

Once the SS leadership saw the screenshots, it became clear there might be a bigger issue. The leadership, feeling that their commitment and efforts were being undermined, acted swiftly to advertise the DCP discord. Due to this the Secret Service server was severely impacted.

Following this, Monstah was able to clear up exactly what happened. This was an incredible miscommunication due to two SS veterans acting rogue and attempting to takeover SS. After this much needed clarification, we intend to support the Secret Service farewell event as intended and move forward with DCP. We apologize to the troops and community for the confusion that occurred.
