NEWCP Halloween Party 2024

Hi Doritos! Before the end of the 2024 Halloween party on New Club Penguin, make sure you completed your spooky missions and got everything you can! Follow this guide to get all the info!

When you log on, you are greeted by Aunt Arctic, who says the penguin band is missing! Gariwald, a ghostly relative of Gary, is at the Forest waiting for you to meet him. Additionally, there are some festivities like the monster maker, and candy from the Wheel of Spooky Fortune! You can get the GHOST PUFFLE as well as win an IGLOO! ( scroll to the bottom of this article for that information, past the instructions for the Penguin Band spooky rescue mission).

Head to the Forest to meet Gariwald! The Penguin Band needs your help!

Once you are ready, press start! After talking to Gariwald for a bit, he will tell you that to get through the paranormal force field, you should go to the Plaza to meet with Gary. Click on Gary to talk to him. You’ll need 6 parts/pieces from haunted floors of the puffle hotel to build an invention to break through the forcefield.

enter the puffle hotel, and go the elevator, the first floor to go to is the sitting room! For this room, throw snowballs at all the chandeliers and candelabras, and then the fireplace, to extinguish the flames. Then the fireplace opens up and you can collect the part.

Next up is the dining room. You will have to move the mirrors around to bounce light off of them to aim at the puffle on the wall, like in this picture. Once you are done, collect that part.

Then go to the ballroom, and notice the sign above the lock.

You will need to go through the rooms in that order, so first go down the purple carpet, then green carpet, then red carpet, then blue. Collect that part and move on to the pool. A bunch of pumpkins will load in the room. Click on each of them and they explode! Then the lock opens up and you can collect the 4th part.

Moving on to the library. This is a small maze, go to the switch first, it turns green, and then opens up the lock. Waddle over to the part and there you go!

Finally on to the balcony. For this floor, the pengryphon statue tells you a clue, and then you have to do the emote that corresponds to it. For example, “when you’re out and you see a friend. This is how your mouth will bend”, is a smile, so press E and 2 on your keyboard or use the emote table to smile. “what you wear when you are in a bad mood…” is E4 frowns. “A clever look to let friends know, that what you’re saying is just for show”, is the E7 wink. “the face you make if you are queasy” is of course E8 green sick faces.

Now collect that part and you are good to meet Gary back at the plaza! He says you have to dig to build it. If you don’t already have a miners hat, go to the mines gold room and grab one for free.

Now click on the terminal at the base of the machine. You need to turn different parts so that there is a path from the bottom left to the middle right side. After you do that, head back to the forest, you can now get through to the haunted mansion!

Head to the left and talk to Gariwald. He will need you to find 5 notes that may reveal the location of the missing Penguin Band.

In the top left of the room you’ll find one of the notes (It disappears after being clicked on).

Then go back to the last room, and go down these stairs up here.

Pick up a free pink pumpkin basket! and head over to the yellow door on the top right.

Once inside, go up the stairs past the knights!

and one of the notes is there in the attic. Afterwards you can go through the ghost cabinet in the top right, which brings you to a familiar room. Go down the ramp, and into the purple cave. You enter into the library where there is another note posted in the circled area.

Go through the orange door at the top, middle of the screen. In this kitchen there is another note.

Now go through the green door on the left, and you are back in the knight room. Now go down the hallway at the bottom of your screen. There you have the final note.

Now you have all the notes, go talk to Gariwald back where you last saw him. He tells you that you need to find keys and investigate the tanks. To see inside the tanks, we need to get the ghost goggles held within the giant chest in the main foyer. We need to find 5 keys to unlock the chest to get the ghost goggles.

Now from this room, you can go to the top left, and enter the room that had the free pink pumpkins. There is one key in here.

Go the the right side yellow door, and go up the stairs past the knights. Click on the bat painting.

Now go back through the ghost closet into a new room, and go down the ramp into the purple cave. In the library you will find another key.

Now take the orange door to enter into the kitchen, and click on the platter on the table.

Now go through the green door on the left back into the knights room, and then go down the bottom hallways. Here you will find the final key.

Go back to Gariwald in the cellar where he has been, because he wants to talk to you first and then you can open the chest. Once you talk to him, go to the chest, click on it, and you get the ghost goggles. put them on your penguin, and you will be able to see some paranormal things in the mansion.

Once you equip them, you will see little ghosts. You still need to do one more task though. You may have noticed some blue tubes in 3 rooms. Click on one, and Gariwald says there is a PENGUIN IN THE TUBE! Throw snowballs at it to break it! Here are the 3 rooms the tubes are at:

You saved the Penguin Band! Now follow the ghostly arrows while wearing your goggles and meet Gariwald at this ghostly door

There you meet The Wanderer, who summoned the evil ghost Skip. I won’t spoil the ending for you. But here are the rewards you can collect!

and that’s it for the spooky mission!

Make sure you check out the snow forts and docks as well, for your chance to win the GHOST PUFFLE! Go to the snow forts to get coins and sometimes candy, and then you can use your candies to spin the wheel at the dock!
