Hello Doritos,
The past five months leading DCP have been nothing short of a thrilling rollercoaster ride. Together, we’ve achieved remarkable milestones—from storming into the CC finals just one month after our revival, to consistently claiming the #1 spot on the top ten week after week. Along the way, we dominated fierce competitors, defeating EGCP, SP, PIC, and ACP (twice) in intense wars, solidifying our true supremacy and proving our unmatched strength as an army.
My leadership journey began back in 2020 with s/m armies, where I had the honour of leading the Miners. It was during this time that I first crossed paths with 32op, who taught me how armies work. Alongside other amazing people like Qwerty and Best Penguin, 32 taught me the foundations of leadership. Although the Miners rarely maxed over 5, those days were filled with fun experiences, and they helped me with the boredom of lockdown.
The Miners lasted only a month before I decided to shut them down and enlist in the Club Penguin Marines. The Marines quickly became the first army where I truly felt at home and developed a deep love for the community. I worked my way up to leader, and under my leadership, we achieved significant victories, including triumphing over powerful s/m armies like PZF. It was my first proper leadership experience, and one that taught me much of what I know about army leadership.
After the Marines shut down, I enlisted in a newly created army called the Secret Service. Under my leadership, we reached #1 on the s/m Top Ten multiple times, establishing ourselves as a formidable small powerhouse. In February 2024, I made the decision to return to the community, aiming to revive the Marines. However, I felt it was important to gain more experience with modern-day armies first. One thing led to another, and alongside Bschar and Monstah, I ended up reviving Secret Service. The army was around from July 7th until just after DCP’s revival, and it was during this time that I met some truly incredible people, including Meerrkat, Mustapha, Crazyhightec, Viv, Aisha, and many others.
Now we reach the point in my journey where I enlisted in DCP.
I never thought that I’d find a home in an army like I had in SS nor Marines again, yet DCP proved me wrong. Ever since I took this leadership position, you have all been there to encourage me, support me and help me through this journey together. We managed to defeat ACP in back to back wars, crush EGCP and appear so threatening that SP and PIC would surrender all their land to us rather than face us in battle. Not once this entire generation has ACP placed above us on a top ten, we lost one singular battle this entire time and we even hit a max of over 100 penguins, thought impossible for armies other than Ice Warriors these days.
In just 5 short months, we accomplished this. DCP is going to go on and accomplish far more, dominating the CPA scene.
Thank for for allowing me to be your leader.
Special Thank Yous:
Bscharbach2: Ben, without you none of this would have been possible. We started this together way back in SS. Your actions resulted in DCPs revival, allowed me to meet some incredible people such as Musta, 32, Meer, Viv and CHT. In SS we were the dream team, we managed to overcome all the challenges in our way. Just 3 days after reviving we took the largest alliance, 2 major armies and 2 s/m to overtime in a 4v1. It’s a shame you went inactive for a short period of time since I really enjoyed leading with you. Thank you for all you’ve done and I’m so glad that I got to lead with you again in DCP.
Aisha: Its been great getting to know you all this time. You are an incredible leader and I really think you are going to go on and do great things now you have a functioning laptop. You managed to keep everybody level-headed and your efforts throughout our time leading together did not go unnoticed by me. Newcp recruiting together was super fun and we made a really great team. Without you I don’t know what we would have done, thanks for always being the voice of reason and keeping everybody together.
32op: 32, thanks for everything. From Miners to SS to DCP, you put up with my shenanigans and helped me greatly. You taught us new recruiting methods I didn’t think were possible and made me a better leader. You paid for giveaways, you bought us alts and put in so much time and effort even when you were retired. You even came back to help us in CC despite all of your irl commitments. I likely wouldn’t have even stayed in the cpa community back in 2020 had you not taught me the basics, so its an indirect result of you that I’m still here. Thanks for everything, and good luck for the future.
Mustapha10: I first met you in SS and you were the main advisor. You helped Ben and I get set up, motivated us to recruit and didn’t give up on us even when we went through a period where nothing happened. You even brought in your close friends to help us defeat the Templars (the #1 army of the time). You taught me how to boost the website on google, how to manage people and really improved my leadership skills. Without you, once again none of this would have been possible. You are a great person and have accomplished many great things, thanks for everything Musta.
Meerrkat: The main man. You were also there from the start and became like a big brother to me. You helped me out with many things, listened to my whining about various people and even got up at 5-6am to attend events from your phone. You kept me motivated and going through it all and made the best YouTube videos on our events. Thanks for popping up, putting up with me and doing everything else you did to help me and the armies I was in out.
